Embed code for multiple episodes and iFrame

How can I copy the Embed code for one or more episodes?

When you’re trying to embed the Sounder Player on your website for an episode, you may want to copy the code for one or several episodes at one time.

To avoid navigating to each episode individually though the “Share” menu, use these steps to choose your episodes and grab the code:

  1. From the Manage tab, use the check box next to Episodes to "select all" or the box to the left of each individual episode to select for which episodes you want the Embed Code.
  2. After you choose the episodes, select the “Embed” button (you may need to scroll back up if you selected a lot of episodes)
  3. Click "Copy the Embed Code" for each episode to use on your website or blog.  Note: use the “Automatically Play with Transcription” option to turn transcription on or off in the Player.

How do I Embed an Episode Using an Iframe?

Sounder does not expose iframe embeds for the Player.  However, if you’re using a solution like Squarespace, Wordpress or Hubspot, then you can still use a plain iframe embed.  Here’s how:

  1. Get the visible embed player URL
    1. From the Episodes menu,  choose your episode and select “Share” from the drop-down menu

    2. Then, copy the embed URL by clicking “Copy Episode Link”

  2. Add the embed URL to the iframe code.  Using the above example, paste the link into the iframe src, e.g.

    <iframe src="https://embed.sounder.fm/play/161496" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:350px"></iframe>

Adjust the width % and height to your requirements.

If you have a Squarespace business account, add it as the Code block.
